Rusthall & Langton

Rusthall is a thriving village in Kent, just under 2 miles west of Tunbridge Wells town.

Local amenities include St Paul’s Primary school, 2 churches, a library, various shops, cafes and pubs, a community cinema, commuter coach, football club, cricket club and the Rusthall Village Association. There is a frequent bus service connecting Rusthall and Tunbridge Wells (281). The great transport links make Rusthall a popular village for commuters who want to be close to links to the city without living in amongst the hustle and bustle of the town centre.

Rusthall holds many highly talked-about social events including the Summer Fete and Bonfire & Firework night. These events are funded by donations made by the village people.
Langton Green is a village situated around 2 miles west of Tunbridge Wells town and is the next village along from Rusthall.

As with Rusthall and indeed most villages, Langton Green has its own interesting history. Rusthall originally formed part of Speldhurst civil parish when it was formed in 1894 and then four years later Tunbridge Wells Borough Council took control of Rusthall. In 2011 Rusthall became a civil parish with its own Parish Council.

Local amenities include Langton Green Primary School, Holmewood House School, shops and restaurants/pubs etc.
