KMJ Property is family run Estate Agents in Tunbridge Wells, owned and run by us - David & Suzanne Johnson (the K, M & J are the initials of our three children).

KMJ Property was established in 2008 and we provide a personal, professional and enthusiastic approach to selling properties throughout Tunbridge Wells and surrounding villages. We are both members of The Property Ombudsman Scheme and qualified with the NAEA.

We all live locally with our families and have good knowledge of the local area, including schools, transport, shops, facilities, walks and clubs.

Our in-house software is cloud based enabling us to access the information we require quickly and efficiently from anywhere with internet connection! Meaning that even if the office is closed and we are out and about, as long as we have a mobile phone signal, we can access the whole of our database via the mobile phone, laptop or tablet. We are contactable 7 days a week so even when our office is closed, phone messages and emails come through to our mobile. Estate agency isn’t just our work, it’s who we are and we pride ourselves on good old fashioned customer service. We have been known to receive an offer, put it forward, agree the offer and send the confirmations whilst in a field at the side of a road on a bike ride on a Sunday afternoon.

We enjoy fair weather cycling and can occasionally be seen cycling through Tunbridge Wells and surrounding villages on our tandem! Through our cycling we have raised money for charity and over the last few years have raised money for Hospice in the Weald, Action Medical, Cancer Research, The British Heart Foundation and St John Ambulance.

At KMJ Property we feel that we are part of the community and involve ourselves in as many local events as possible and help to promote these events via advertising, word of mouth and twitter etc.

In 2019 we started talking about evolving the business and in 2020 among the Covid19 crisis, we decided to spread our wings and develop the business outside of our core area, we have taken time to select like-minded individuals (genuine, personable, hardworking and straightforward to deal with) to represent us in other areas and work with us to build our business.

Meet Our Team

David Johnson

I started my own business at the age of 21, the same year as marrying Suzanne, and I have now been in the property industry for over 20 years. We live in Southborough with our three children Katrina, Marc and Jack. I have also featured on Homes under the Hammer a number of times.

Suzanne Johnson

I originally trained as a bilingual secretary and worked for a local house building company, before joining David in his business in 1997. I have also been in the property industry for over 20 years. Like David, I have lived in the Southborough/Tunbridge Wells area for most of my life.

Sarah Cameron

Sarah moved back to the area from Sweden over 12 years ago and joined the team in 2008. Sarah works part-time carrying out viewings and liaising with applicants. Sarah has a good knowledge of local schools and Rusthall Village, where she lives.

Marc Johnson

Marc – The ‘M’ in KMJ! Local, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Having grown up with my parents running the Estate Agency, I’m very pleased to be now be taking on an active role within the family business.

Ben Hosmer

I began my estate agency career in 1998 and find it so rewarding helping our local people move. I live in Rusthall so I’m local and have a great knowledge of the Tunbridge Wells area, and I bought my house through KMJ in 2015!

I have two lovely nephews and outside of work I love to go running in the countryside, I enjoy cooking and I’ve always been a football fan since a very young age.

Hugh Wilson

Hugh lives in Winchester and has good local knowledge about the city’s attractions and it’s schools and amenities.

In his spare time, Hugh likes to walk around Winchester’s many historical sites. He enjoys eating out and is always on hand to recommend a good restaurant!
